Have the spectator hand you the coin which you take and put into your pocket. As you do this you immediately produce a small plastic box that is held closed with rubber bands.
The box is handed to the spectator and they are asked to open it up. Inside the box is another smaller box also banded together. You again ask them to open this box and as they do they find a small bag secured by a rubber band.
Upon opening the bag the spectator finds the coin complete with the markings they put on it.
